Free Range Meat
Robert & Edwards only supply free range meat as we strongly believe this to be very important in todays society where environmental issues are so important.

All of our free range meat is sourced locally as we aim to support the local community and also aim to reduce unnecessary food miles
The traditional usage of the term "free-range" means "unfenced," and with the implication that there was no farmer keeping them together or managing them in any way. Nowadays the term free-range means that the animals are permitted to roam freely instead of being contained in any manner. The idea is to allow the animals as much freedom as possible, to live (as best they can in a controlled environment) in a reasonably natural way, regardless of whether or not they are eventually killed for meat. One of the many benefits of free range animals is that they help control the insect population on farms, reducing the need for insecticides.
